How Can You Join?
Its simple to join. All you need is to get your hands on one of these uniforms and come to an event that we are attending
and fall in with us. What you need to go on the field with us: the proper pants (there is some question as to whether they
wore thick stripes or thin stripes but we have chosen to go with the thick ones), a red shirt, blue and white stripped stockings,
gaiters, proper foot wear, a fez (kepi or straw hat could work), a musket, a canteen, a cartridge and cap box. Those are the
basics for any Tiger reenactor. For the first few events we understand if you do not have a jacket. They are hard to come
by and fairly expensive but just a note for future referance. Based on our research we have concluded they wore blue jackets
with red trim. Some say they had brown jackets and there really is no clear documentation either way but we have choosen to
go with the blue.

Who Can Join?
Anyone can join!! Male, Female, Young (16 to fight) or Old, we invite anyone that wishes to give it a try to come on
out with us. It is important to know that we do follow all the regulations posted by the 9th Battalion and the ANV. They require
people to be 16 to go on the field and fight. Until those regulations change we have to enforce them in our unit. Knowledge
of reenacting is helpful but we do work with all our new recruits to make sure they are aware of all saftey issues and also
basic commands. It is important to us that we look sharp to the public and honor the Tigers history properly.
